Lexus has revealed the RZ 600e “F SPORT Performance” special edition, a high-performance addition to its dedicated battery-electric RZ lineup. Scheduled for release at Lexus dealerships nationwide on March 2, 2026, this model builds directly on the RZ 550e “F SPORT” platform. It incorporates enhanced motor output, advanced aerodynamic components, and larger brakes to deliver elevated dynamic performance while maintaining the brand’s “Always On” driving philosophy.
Highlights
- System output increased to 313 kW through reassessed battery limits for smoother, more exhilarating acceleration.
- Vehicle height lowered by 20 mm versus the base RZ 550e “F SPORT” to reduce aerodynamic drag and improve stability.
- 20-inch brake rotors paired with six-piston front calipers for enhanced braking power and precise control.
- Extensive carbon-fiber aerodynamic parts, including hood bulge, roof, wing, and spoilers, generating significant downforce.
- Steer-by-Wire system with unique steering wheel and Interactive Manual Drive for heightened driver engagement.

Model Evolution and Positioning
The RZ series represents Lexus’s first dedicated battery-electric vehicle platform, launched with the all-wheel-drive RZ 450e in March 2023. Subsequent additions included the front-wheel-drive RZ 300e for extended range and the limited-edition RZ 450e “F SPORT Performance” (100 units) in January 2024. That performance variant was developed in collaboration with air race pilot Yoshihide Muroya and racing driver Masahiro Sasaki to maximize aerodynamic efficiency and driving dynamics.
The new RZ 600e “F SPORT Performance” extends this lineage by leveraging the comprehensively renewed BEV system introduced in the RZ 550e “F SPORT.” It focuses on deepening sporty character through higher power delivery, optimized aerodynamics, and refined braking capability.
Performance Enhancements
Lexus engineers reassessed battery output limits to achieve a maximum system output of 313 kW. This increase enables emotionally engaging linear acceleration while preserving smooth power delivery characteristic of the DIRECT4 all-wheel-drive system.
To complement the elevated motor performance, the vehicle adopts 20-inch diameter brake rotors with front opposed six-piston aluminum monoblock calipers finished in blue and bearing the Lexus logo. These components provide greater thermal capacity and stopping power, with brake feel tuned specifically for sports driving to ensure precise modulation and direct driver connection.
Vehicle height is reduced by 20 mm compared with the RZ 550e “F SPORT,” lowering the center of gravity and reducing aerodynamic drag. Combined with exclusive carbon-fiber aerodynamic elements, this configuration generates substantial downforce for enhanced handling stability across speed ranges.
The Steer-by-Wire system receives a dedicated steering wheel design optimized for variable-ratio control. Paired with Interactive Manual Drive functionality, it amplifies driver involvement from urban environments to winding roads.

Exterior Design and Aerodynamics
The RZ 600e “F SPORT Performance” emphasizes aerodynamic efficiency through a comprehensive package of carbon-fiber components:
- Carbon hood bulge
- Carbon roof and rear wing
- Carbon front lower spoiler, front side spoilers, and rear lower spoiler
- Carbon headlamp bezels and turning vanes (front and rear)
- Large arch moldings and lower door moldings
- 21-inch ENKEI aluminum wheels in matte black finish
Two exterior color schemes are available: Black combined with HAKUGIN II (matte clear finish) or Black combined with Neutrino Gray. Blue accents on the contrasting black body highlight the model’s performance-oriented character.

Interior Appointments
The cabin balances sportiness and refinement. Front seats employ an integrated foam molding process with Ultrasuede® trim in black featuring blue stitching. They incorporate driver-seat position memory and ventilation for comfort during extended or spirited driving.
Additional interior distinctions include:
- Dial-type shift selector with blue accent
- Instrument panel with Special Edition blue highlights
- Black hazel front cup holders
- Ultrasuede® door trim
Developer Contributions
Yoshihide Muroya, representative of LEXUS PATHFINDER AIR RACING, contributed aerodynamic expertise derived from air racing to the vehicle’s development. Masahiro Sasaki, a professional racing driver with Super Taikyu and Nürburgring 24 Hours experience, refined driving character from early RZ stages through the prior RZ 450e “F SPORT Performance” and other performance models.
The RZ 600e “F SPORT Performance” integrates these insights to advance Lexus’s performance envelope within its growing battery-electric portfolio.
