Lucid Group, Inc. has unveiled significant updates for its 2026 Lucid Air lineup, reinforcing its position as a leader in electric vehicle (EV) range and efficiency. Starting July 31, 2025, all Lucid Air models will gain access to over 23,500 Tesla Superchargers across North America, enhancing charging convenience for owners. Alongside this, the 2026 lineup introduces improved range ratings, advanced features, and new standard equipment, making the Lucid Air a top choice for EV enthusiasts.

- Tesla Supercharger Access: All Lucid Air models, regardless of year, can use Tesla’s Supercharger network with a $220 NACS-to-CCS1 adapter.
- Increased Range: The Lucid Air Touring now offers an EPA-estimated 431 miles, a 6% improvement, while the Air Grand Touring maintains a class-leading 512 miles.
- New Standard Features: All models include a Lucid Mobile Charging Cable Kit and an upgraded AC compressor for better cooling and quieter cabins.
- Optional Upgrades: New 19-inch Aeronaut wheels and 20-way power heated, ventilated, and massaging front seats enhance comfort and style.
- Advanced Driver Assistance: Updated DreamDrive Pro suite adds Hands-Free Drive Assist and Hands-Free Lane Change Assist for safer, less fatiguing drives.
Expanded Charging Convenience
Starting July 31, 2025, Lucid Air owners can charge at Tesla’s Supercharger network (V3 and above) using a NACS-to-CCS1 adapter priced at $220 (excluding taxes). This adapter enables charging speeds up to 250 kW, adding up to 200 miles of range per hour. Owners can initiate charging via the Lucid App with a credit card saved in their Lucid Wallet. According to Emad Dlala, Senior Vice President of Powertrain at Lucid Motors, this access marks a “major milestone” in providing seamless charging options for customers. Combined with the Air’s industry-leading range, this makes long-distance travel more convenient and confidence-inspiring.
2026 Lucid Air Lineup Enhancements
The 2026 Lucid Air lineup continues to set benchmarks for range and efficiency. The Lucid Air Touring achieves an EPA-estimated range of 431 miles, a 6% increase due to new high-density battery cells. The Air Grand Touring retains its industry-leading 512-mile range, ideal for extended road trips. All models now feature an upgraded AC compressor from the Lucid Gravity, improving cooling capacity and reducing cabin noise for a more comfortable ride.
Standard equipment across the lineup includes the Lucid Mobile Charging Cable Kit, which supports 240-volt charging at 9.6 kW (up to 40 miles of range per hour) and 120-volt charging at 1.4 kW (up to 4 miles per hour). The kit also supports vehicle-to-vehicle charging with the optional RangeXchange adapter. Additionally, new 19-inch Aeronaut wheels in Platinum or Stealth finishes are available for the Air Pure, Touring, and Grand Touring, adding a stylish design option.
Model-Specific Upgrades
- Lucid Air Pure: Priced at $70,900 in the US and $99,900 in Canada, it offers value with standard 12-way power heated seats or optional 20-way power seats with ventilation and massage. The Mojave PurLuxe Interior and DreamDrive Premium are standard, with a new rear center console display included in the optional Comfort and Convenience Package.
- Lucid Air Touring: Priced at $79,900 in the US and $112,800 in Canada, it combines a 431-mile range with wheel options like the 19-inch Aero Range, 19-inch Aeronaut, or 20-inch Aero Lite with performance tires.
- Lucid Air Grand Touring: Priced at $114,900 in the US and $161,200 in Canada, it includes standard 20-way power memory seats with heating, ventilation, and massage, paired with a 512-mile range.
Advanced Driver Assistance Systems
Lucid’s DreamDrive Pro suite receives a significant update, introducing Hands-Free Drive Assist and Hands-Free Lane Change Assist. These features, available later in July 2025, enhance driver comfort and safety on compatible roads, though Lucid emphasizes that drivers must remain attentive. Eric Bach, Senior Vice President of Product and Chief Engineer, highlights these updates as part of Lucid’s commitment to continuous improvement, making the Air one of the most advanced EVs available.
Customization and Availability
Customers can configure their 2026 Lucid Air using the Design Yours configurator on Lucid’s website (lucidmotors.com). These enhancements, combined with access to Tesla’s Supercharger network, position the Lucid Air as a top contender in the luxury EV market, offering unmatched range, efficiency, and convenience.
