LEPAS has confirmed full UK specification for the L6 EV, an all-electric C-segment SUV built around a 65 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery the company rates at 279 miles of WLTP range. The model joins the flagship L8 PHEV in the LEPAS UK lineup as the brand’s first battery-electric SUV. Order books open in early Q4 2026, with buyers choosing between two trim levels, Essence and Elevate. Both share the same front-mounted motor rated at 215 horsepower (160 kW/217 PS).

How Far Does the LEPAS L6 EV Go on a Charge?
Both Essence and Elevate use a 65 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery paired with a front-mounted motor producing 160 kW (217 PS), roughly 215 horsepower, and 203 lb-ft (275 Nm) of torque. LEPAS quotes acceleration from 0–62 mph in 7.9 seconds and a top speed of 111 mph.
The company rates WLTP range at 279 miles. WLTP figures come from the European test cycle and typically read higher than the EPA numbers familiar to US readers, so the two are not directly comparable.
DC charging peaks at 120 kW, which LEPAS says delivers a 30 to 80 percent charge in approximately 22 minutes. A 3.3 kW vehicle-to-load (V2L) function is standard, allowing the battery to power compatible external electrical equipment.
LEX Platform and European Chassis Work
The L6 EV rides on the LEPAS LEX Platform, a new-energy architecture the company describes as developed around intelligence, efficiency and safety. An integrated 12-in-1 electric drive system handles power delivery, with electric power steering and an electric brake booster fitted as standard.
Braking uses Bosch IBP 2.0 technology, which LEPAS says improves braking performance, energy recovery and pedal feel while reducing the pitching sensation sometimes associated with electric vehicles.
As with the L8, the LEPAS European chassis team carried out dedicated development work to adapt the L6 EV to European roads, targeting ride comfort and predictable handling.
Exterior Design and Dimensions
The L6 EV applies the LEPAS Leopard Aesthetics design language to the C-segment SUV class. Signature “Hunting Eye” LED headlights are paired with a wide-body profile and LED rear lighting.
The SUV measures 179.9 inches (4,570 mm) long, 72.9 inches (1,852 mm) wide excluding mirrors and 66.0 inches (1,676 mm) tall, on a 106.3-inch (2,700 mm) wheelbase. Ground clearance is 6.3 inches (159 mm).
Both trims get 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, LED headlights with Intelligent High Beam Assist, LED daytime running lights and LED rear lights. Electrically adjustable, heated and power-folding door mirrors with puddle lights are standard. Privacy glass covers the rear windows and tailgate, and acoustic laminated front side windows reduce outside noise.
Lucid White is the no-cost paint. Five pearlescent finishes, Phantom Grey, Cosmic Black, Quicksilver, Solar Orange and Supernova Purple, add £500 (about $680).
Interior Space and Cargo
The cabin centers on a wrap-around cockpit with a 13.2-inch waterfall-style central touchscreen, and a panoramic sunroof brings light into the interior. The LEX Platform architecture allows a flat rear floor, increasing space for rear passengers.
Trunk volume is 14.5 cubic feet (410 liters), rising to 47.1 cubic feet (1,334 liters) with the rear seats folded. A further 3.5 cubic feet (99 liters) of hidden underfloor storage holds charging equipment and other items.
Standard on both trims: panoramic sunroof with electric sunshade, dual-zone climate control, rear air vents, heated multifunction steering wheel, heated front windshield, keyless entry and go, and 40/60 split-folding rear seats.
Safety and Driver Assistance
The L6 EV was developed in line with 2026 Euro NCAP testing protocols, according to LEPAS, combining a strong passenger structure with airbag protection, driver assistance technology and high-voltage battery protection.
Both trims carry 22 advanced driver assistance functions. These include Autonomous Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, Emergency Lane Keeping, Blind Spot Detection and Traffic Jam Assist. Rear Traffic Cross Alert and Rear Traffic Cross Braking are also standard, alongside Rear Collision Warning, Door Open Warning, Intelligent Speed Limit Control and Front Distance Monitoring.
Front and rear parking sensors and a 540-degree panoramic camera system are fitted to both models.
Infotainment and Connectivity
Both trims pair the 13.2-inch central touchscreen with an 8.88-inch Retina LCD digital driver display, running on a Qualcomm 8155 infotainment processor. The “Hello LEPAS” AI-powered voice assistant handles key vehicle functions through voice commands.
Charging and connectivity provisions include 50 W wireless smartphone charging with active cooling, two front USB-C ports, and USB-A and USB-C connections for rear passengers.

Warranty and Ownership
Every L6 EV carries a 7-year/100,000-mile manufacturer warranty and an 8-year/100,000-mile high-voltage battery warranty, plus a 12-year/unlimited-mileage corrosion perforation guarantee and a 3-year/unlimited-mileage paintwork guarantee.
RAC roadside assistance covers the first 12 months and renews automatically for up to seven years when scheduled servicing is completed at an authorized LEPAS service center. Over-the-air (OTA) and firmware-over-the-air (FOTA) updates allow software and vehicle functions to be updated across the vehicle’s life.
