Electrification and Performance
The electric GLC utilizes a robust 800-volt charging architecture designed to minimize downtime at rapid charging stations. The powertrain delivers 483 hp and achieves an estimated range of up to 713 km under preliminary internal testing. U.S. market availability for the electric GLC is scheduled for the second half of 2026.
Software-Defined Mobility and AI
The fourth-generation MBUX system is the world’s first in-car infotainment platform to integrate AI from both Microsoft and Google. Drivers interact with the optional 39.1-inch MBUX Hyperscreen, a seamless pillar-to-pillar display. Furthermore, the vehicle introduces Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos in Apple CarPlay for an immersive cabin environment.

Advanced Driver Assistance and Safety
The MB.DRIVE system, developed with NVIDIA, leverages full-stack DRIVE AV software and accelerated compute power. This platform allows the vehicle to navigate from a parking lot to its destination using advanced SAE-Level 2 assistance. A cooperative steering approach ensures the driver can make manual adaptations at any time without deactivating the system.
Strategic Multimedia Partnerships
Collaborations with Xperi and Sony Pictures Entertainment bring IMAX Enhanced content and DTS:X sound to the electric CLA. This model also features DTS AutoStage Video powered by TiVo, expanding video streaming options for passengers. These innovations reflect the company’s objective to lead in vehicle software and electric mobility.
