Mercedes-Benz Recalls EQB Models Over Battery Fire Risk

Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) has issued a recall for certain 2022-2024 EQB electric SUVs due to a potential risk of high-voltage battery failure, which could lead to a fire while parked or driving. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) recall campaign number 25V050000 covers 7,362 affected units, including EQB 250, EQB 300 4MATIC, and EQB 350 4MATIC models. Owners are advised to limit battery charging to 80% until the issue is resolved.
