Located in the heart of the UK’s automotive valley, the Leamington Spa facility enables MOKE International to improve the quality and efficiency of its Electric MOKE production. With targets set to exceed 500 units this year, the company is poised to meet rising demand from markets like the USA and the Mediterranean.
This expansion has tripled MOKE’s workforce, adding dozens of jobs in the clean-tech sector. The company is also committed to developing talent through planned apprenticeship and graduate opportunities, fostering the next generation of electric vehicle experts.
To mark the occasion, MOKE hosted a reveal event attended by retail partners from France, Spain, and the USA, alongside local figures like Matt Western, MP for Warwick and Leamington and Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Electric Vehicles. Western praised the investment’s positive impact on the region.

Nick English, Executive Chairman, stated, “It’s great to bring production back to the UK’s car manufacturing heartland, where the MOKE was first designed by Sir Alec Issigonis. As we celebrate 60 years, this chapter enhances our innovation and craftsmanship.”
The Electric MOKE’s recent CARB and EPA approvals—the first for a low-volume EV manufacturer—enable sales across the US, reflecting MOKE’s commitment to high environmental and safety standards. New color options were also introduced, enhancing customer personalization.
MOKE’s invitation to join Walpole, the UK’s luxury goods sector body, underscores its reputation for British excellence. As it marks its 60th anniversary, MOKE International blends heritage with innovation, positioning itself for global success.
