Nissan Formula E Team is set to build on its recent victory in Mexico City as it takes on the first-ever Jeddah E-Prix. The double-header event marks a new chapter in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship and introduces the much-anticipated Pit Boost feature.

New Challenges and Strategy at Jeddah

Following a stellar performance in Mexico City, where Oliver Rowland executed three decisive late overtakes to claim victory, Nissan Formula E Team is eager to continue its momentum. Teammate Norman Nato aims for a strong comeback after showing promising race pace despite an unrewarded result in Mexico.

The introduction of Pit Boost adds a fresh strategic element to the race, allowing teams to optimize energy usage with a high-powered recharge. Tommaso Volpe, Nissan Formula E Team Principal, highlighted the importance of adapting to both the new track and the Pit Boost feature, stating, “It could be a game changer.”

Racing Under the Lights in Jeddah

The Jeddah E-Prix will be held under the lights along the Red Sea coast, offering a high-speed, technical challenge for drivers. With overtaking opportunities at Turns 1, 8, and 12, fans can expect an action-packed weekend.

Both Rowland and Nato will hit the track at 21:00 for Free Practice, with qualifying sessions at 15:20 on Friday and Saturday, followed by the races at 20:00.
