Octillion Power Systems has officially inaugurated its new battery manufacturing facility in Reno, Nevada, marking a significant expansion of its North American footprint. The 40,000-square-foot “Nevada One” facility will serve as a 1GWh production site and a co-located factory model to support clients in scaling their own battery manufacturing operations. Paul Beach, Global President of Octillion, emphasized the importance of Nevada One in meeting increasing demand across various e-mobility sectors. He also highlighted the facility’s role as a “working model” for co-located battery factories in North America. Taylor Adams, CEO of the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN), praised Octillion’s expansion as a major win for Nevada’s clean energy industry.
With seven manufacturing facilities across the U.S., India, and China, Octillion has delivered over 1.5 million battery systems, powering EVs that have traveled 4.5 billion kilometers globally. The company remains committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions by supporting domestic EV production with high-quality lithium-ion battery solutions.
