OMODA UK has officially commenced deliveries of its flagship OMODA 9 SHS, a new plug-in hybrid SUV that aims to redefine luxury without the associated premium price tag. The OMODA 9 SHS is engineered to deliver an experience akin to an electric vehicle while retaining the versatility of a hybrid. Its advanced self-charging hybrid system allows for an impressive WLTP combined range of over 700 miles, with a pure electric range of up to 93 miles. This translates to CO₂ emissions as low as 38 g/km. Performance is also a key focus, with a combined system output of 449 PS and 700 Nm of torque, enabling a swift 0 to 62 mph acceleration in just 4.9 seconds.
Designed for comfort and quietness, the OMODA 9 SHS incorporates a three-speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission, intelligent all-wheel drive, and electromagnetic suspension. Cabin noise is remarkably low at 45.8 dB at urban speeds, thanks to acoustic glass and specially designed acoustic tires.
The interior of the OMODA 9 SHS prioritizes both luxury and technology. Standard features include a 540-degree panoramic camera system, cabin air purification, a 1.3-meter panoramic sunroof, and heated and ventilated seating for four occupants. A premium 14-speaker SONY surround sound system complements the experience, alongside a striking curved 24.6-inch HD display and ambient lighting.
