Opel’s commitment to providing efficient and sustainable mobility solutions is evident in its latest SUV lineup. The Grandland, Frontera, and Mokka models cater to a wide range of preferences, from the compact and stylish Mokka to the family-friendly Frontera and the top-of-the-line Grandland. Electric Driving Experience
The all-new Opel Grandland boasts a 3D Vizor with an illuminated Opel Blitz logo, illuminated OPEL wordmark at the rear, glare-free Intelli-Lux HD light, and a Pixel Box for inductive smartphone charging. As the winner of the “Golden Steering Wheel 2024,” the Grandland is the first Opel model based on the BEV-native STLA Medium platform. The Grandland Electric offers two electric variants, both with 157 kW (213 hp), enabling a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in 9 seconds. The 73 kWh battery provides a range of up to 523 kilometers (WLTP1), while the Grandland Electric GS with an 82 kWh battery extends the range to 582 kilometers (WLTP1). A 97 kWh battery option will soon be available, offering up to 700 kilometers (WLTP1) of range. With fast charging capabilities, the Grandland can be charged to 80% in less than 30 minutes at a public fast charging station.

The new Opel Mokka Electric, with its 115 kW (156 hp) electric motor and 54 kWh battery, provides a range of up to 403 kilometers (WLTP1). The Mokka Electric’s compact size and efficient packaging make it an ideal choice for urban environments. The battery’s underfloor location ensures a low center of gravity and enhances handling. With 260 Newton meters of instant torque, the Mokka Electric offers quick acceleration and a fun driving experience.
The Opel Frontera stands out with its robust design and practical interior solutions. The Frontera Electric, with 83 kW (113 hp) and a 44 kWh battery, offers a range of up to 305 kilometers (WLTP1). A “long-range” version with an extended range of around 400 kilometers (preliminary range according to WLTP1) will soon be available.
Hybrid Options for Efficiency
For customers who prefer a hybrid driving experience, the Grandland, Frontera, and Mokka offer 48-volt hybrid variants. This technology combines a 100 kW (136 hp) turbocharged 1.2-liter petrol engine with a 21 kW (28 hp) electric motor and a lithium-ion battery. The electric motor assists during acceleration and starting, improving fuel efficiency and reducing CO2 emissions. At low speeds, the electric motor enables all-electric driving for short distances. During deceleration, the electric motor acts as a generator, recharging the 48-volt battery.

The Grandland also offers a plug-in hybrid variant with a locally emissions-free range of up to 87 kilometers (WLTP1). With a system output of 143 kW (195 hp) and 350 Nm of torque, the Grandland plug-in hybrid accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 220 km/h.
