Pioneer Power Solutions, Inc. has announced a significant, multi-year award valued at approximately $10 million from the largest Charging-as-a-Service (CaaS) company in the United States. This partnership is set to accelerate the deployment of Pioneer’s mobile electric vehicle (EV) charging solution, e-Boost, meeting the growing demand for clean, on-demand energy in the EV sector.

Accelerating EV Infrastructure
A primary challenge for businesses and fleets transitioning to electric vehicles is the delay in grid infrastructure development. Pioneer directly confronts this bottleneck with its innovative e-Boost solutions, which provide fast, mobile EV charging where grid access is limited, unreliable, or unavailable.
“This award not only validates the strength of the e-Boost technology, our supply chain management and manufacturing capabilities but also underscores our rapid execution,” stated Geo Murickan, President of Pioneer’s eMobility business. The e-Boost platform allows for rapid deployment without upfront costs, aligning with the operational models of fleet businesses.
Strategic Partnership and Expansion
This new award builds upon an existing relationship between the two companies. Through their strategic partnership, they have created a new category called the ‘Off-Grid 180-500kW Power Hub.’ This standalone DC Fast Charging solution functions as an all-in-one energy management system, powered by a clean-energy microgrid that can charge multiple EVs at once.
The equipment delivery is set to start in the second quarter of 2025 and continue through 2027. This timeline supports the CaaS provider’s significant expansion from its current presence in 30 U.S. metro markets into new domestic territories and neighboring countries. The collaboration positions Pioneer to support this growth while addressing the surging demand for e-Boost solutions across municipal, transit, and school bus applications.
