MAHWAH, N.J. AND RESTON, V.A. – Polestar cars is teaming up with America’s largest fast-charging network, Electrify America, to provide two years of free DC fast charging sessions to Polestar 2 owners. Applicable at all Electrify America charging stations, the free charging offer is provided to all Polestar 2 owners – both for new orders as well as existing owners of the award-winning electric performance fastback.
The free 30-minute charging sessions will provide an optimal amount of charge when stopping on a long journey. Drivers will be able to access the free charging offer through Electrify America’s mobile app using a unique enrollment code, from late October. Existing owners will receive a communication with their enrollment codes or can obtain them from their Polestar Space; new customers will begin their two-year period upon vehicle handover.

In particular, the collaboration with Electrify America is designed to help inspire confidence for owners looking to charge their electric car with confidence.

The offer is another example of how the company has continued to enhance the Polestar 2 ownership experience. Owners have continuously enjoyed regular improvements to cars through over-the-air (OTA) updates. This includes increases in efficiency and driving range for 2021 Polestar 2 drivers, the addition of SiriusXM satellite radio, and navigation-optimized battery preheating to rapidly enable maximum charging speed.
