The Taoke factory, with a 2GWh capacity, can potentially supply batteries for up to 26,000 electric vehicles. Production began in late 2023, with plans to distribute worldwide. The facility is expected to create 1,200 jobs in Taoyuan and will serve as a model for future expansion, particularly in Dunkirk, France.

Chih-Ching Yang highlighted the significance of the Taoke Plant in solid-state battery technology, while Shan-zheng Zhang emphasized Taoyuan as an ideal base for ProLogium’s global expansion.
The “P-C-R Next-Generation Solid-State Battery” solution developed by ProLogium focuses on performance, cost, and resource circulation. The Taoke factory boasts an output efficiency that is 2.6 times that of its original facility. Innovations such as continuous wet coating for solid-state electrolytes have improved production efficiency and quality.
ProLogium’s patented technologies, covering cell structure and process design, have resolved yield issues and enhanced manufacturing precision. With a trial production line yield target of 99.9% for single-layer cells, the company is well-positioned for global market impact.
The inclusion of ProLogium in France’s “France 2030” plan and the progress of the Dunkirk factory align with the French government’s vision for efficient transportation. Franck Paris expressed enthusiasm for the Taiwan-France cooperation and the role it plays in the global green economy.
