- Q-Park selected GreenFlux for its advanced smart-charging solutions and versatile Charge Point Management System (CPMS) options.
- The collaboration strengthens GreenFlux’s presence in the European commercial parking industry.
A Strategic European Partnership
The agreement between Q-Park and GreenFlux represents a logical alignment of two Netherlands-founded companies with a primary focus on the European market. Both organizations operate in key markets such as Germany, France, Belgium, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands and share a commitment to offering high-quality, smart eMobility solutions with a strong focus on sustainability.
This partnership solidifies GreenFlux’s significant foothold in the European commercial parking sector, as its platform is now used by the industry’s top players, including Q-Park. The transition involved a complex migration of the Q-Park charge points from the Shell Recharge back end. Both Q-Park and GreenFlux extended their gratitude to Shell Recharge for its support in ensuring the success of the backend migration.
Advancing EV Charging for Commercial Parking
Leaders from both companies have highlighted the strategic importance of the collaboration. Suthalan Gnanes, Managing Director at GreenFlux, stated that the deal expands the company’s presence in the European commercial parking space. He noted, “Q-Park is a well-known parking and mobility brand and has an outstanding reputation. This partnership demonstrates our commitment to drive the future of commercial parking as we now serve the top commercial parking operators in Europe.”
For Q-Park, the partnership addresses growing customer demand for reliable EV charging. “EV charging is increasingly important for Q-Park as our customers expect to be able to charge while parking,” explained Michiel Tenge, Managing Director at Q-Park Netherlands. He added that the collaboration provides more flexibility and control, which facilitates the company’s growth ambitions and supports its mission to make cities more livable and accessible.
