Hybrid Powertrain Architecture

The Filante’s E-Tech 250 system pairs a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine producing 150 hp and 250 Nm with two electric motors integrated into a DHT Pro automatic transmission. Combined system output reaches 250 hp and 565 Nm of torque.

A 1.64 kWh lithium-ion battery enables up to 75% of city driving in all-electric mode under favorable conditions. The vehicle always starts in electric mode. Renault claims fuel consumption reductions of up to 50% compared with equivalent non-hybrid petrol engines, with CO₂ emissions rated at 106 g/km.

The DHT Pro (Dedicated Hybrid Transmission) integrates:

  • Two electric motors (100 kW/320 Nm and 60 kW/180 Nm)
  • Dual epicyclic gearset with three-speed capability
  • High-pressure hydraulic module
  • Dual clutch for seamless operating mode transitions

Advanced Driver Assistance Systems

Renault Filante features over 30 ADAS technologies grouped under the Renault Easy Drive suite. Standard systems include intelligent adaptive cruise control with Stop & Go, lane centering, emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, traffic sign recognition, advanced blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, Auto Park Assist, and 360-degree cameras with transparent chassis view.

Three systems make their Renault debut on the Filante:

  • Emergency collision avoidance supports evasive maneuvers between 18 and 75 mph with increased steering torque, using data from cameras and vehicle sensors
  • Digital interior rear-view mirror improves rear visibility and integrates electronic toll collection
  • Child presence detection monitors the cabin and triggers alerts if a child is left inside
