Renault Group Named Zero Emission Fleet Manufacturer of 2026

Renault Group won the unanimous Zero Emission Manufacturer of the Year award at the 2026 Fleet News Awards, reflecting its expanding electric car and LCV portfolio across multiple brands and price points.

Renault Group took home the Zero Emission Manufacturer of the Year title at the Fleet News Awards 2026. The award recognized the automaker’s broad electric vehicle lineup spanning passenger cars and light commercial vehicles across the Renault, Dacia, and Alpine brands.

Judge Recognition

Fleet News judges voted unanimously for Renault Group. They cited the company’s wide portfolio of electric vehicles, from small cars to large vans, across all price points. The judges said Renault “is doing more than anyone to help fleets make the transition to electric.”

Passenger EV Lineup

The award reflects Renault Group’s strategy of offering electric options at multiple price tiers. The Dacia Spring starts at £15,990 OTR. The Renault 5 E-Tech electric begins at £21,495 OTR. The Renault 4 E-Tech electric is priced from £23,445 OTR.

Established models round out the range. These include the Megane E-Tech electric and Scenic E-Tech electric, which offers a 379-mile WLTP range. The Renault Twingo E-Tech electric and Alpine A390 are also in the pipeline.

Commercial Vehicle Range

Renault Group’s all-electric LCV lineup played a key role in securing the award. The range includes the Kangoo E-Tech electric, Master E-Tech electric, and Dacia Spring Cargo. The Master E-Tech electric delivers a 285-mile WLTP range.

Additionally, the upcoming Renault Trafic E-Tech electric will expand the commercial lineup. Renault Group described it as the group’s first software-defined vehicle.

Fleet Strategy Outlook

Justin Costello, Head of Fleet at Renault Group, said the unanimous vote was “a huge testament to the giant strides Renault Group has taken in recent years.” He pointed to the rapidly evolving all-electric offering designed to fit varied business customer needs. Costello added that more is still to come, “starting of course with Twingo and Trafic.”
