The Rimac Campus is positioned to be the new hub for Bugatti Rimac’s hypercar development and for Rimac Technology’s research, development, and production. The first phase includes a wide range of capabilities, including hypercar assembly, prototype assembly, composite manufacturing, CNC machining, upholstery, and a state-of-the-art paint shop. Furthermore, the Campus will support high-volume battery projects for premium European automotive manufacturers.
The construction of the Rimac Campus commenced in 2021, driven by a vision from Croatian architecture firm 3LHD. Using industrial building techniques such as prefabricated concrete and steel elements, the project has advanced rapidly, offering flexibility for future expansion. The new production building incorporates a unique “houses within a house” design, featuring six-meter-high ceilings, green atriums, and an aluminum façade that integrates with its natural surroundings. Shared spaces, such as restrooms and kitchens, facilitate interaction, while the central atrium serves as a communal dining and gathering area.
Currently, 400 employees are already working at the new Campus, with more expected to join as the transition continues. Once fully operational, the facility will accommodate 2,500 employees, enhancing the Rimac Group’s capabilities in developing premium and luxury technology solutions in the mobility and energy sectors.
