Scout Motors Inc., an emerging developer of all-electric trucks and rugged SUVs, has inaugurated its Columbia Connection Center in the bustling BullStreet District. This new facility, situated on the ground floor of the First Base Building, serves as a community hub where locals can explore the rich history and exciting future of Scout Motors’ products.

Scout Motors Launches Columbia Center

The Columbia Connection Center not only allows the public to delve into the legacy of the original Scout® vehicles but also provides updates on the company’s forthcoming innovations as the Blythewood Production Center’s construction progresses. With operating hours set for Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and available by appointment on other days, the center aims to become a key resource for community interaction and learning.

This development follows the pattern of Scout Motors’ other facilities, including the Innovation Center in Novi, Michigan, and the under-construction Production Center in Blythewood, ensuring a cohesive brand presence across multiple locations.

Since opening its initial office in the BullStreet District in November, Scout Motors has rapidly expanded its South Carolina presence, now employing nearly 75 local staffers and continuing to scale up recruitment to meet the demands of its impending manufacturing operations.
