Scout Motors, the all-electric truck and SUV startup, recently announced the opening of its first South Carolina office in Columbia’s BullStreet District. This temporary home base will house the company’s growing team as construction progresses on its new production center in nearby Blythewood.
“This office opening marks another exciting milestone in our journey to revive the iconic Scout brand,” said Scout Motors President and CEO Scott Keogh. “We’re committed to being part of the vibrant Midlands community and contributing to its continued growth.”
The BullStreet office occupies the entire third floor of the First Base Building, offering ample space for over 175 employees. It boasts multiple conference rooms, a dedicated training room, and a collaborative workspace. Visitors to Segra Park, home of the Columbia Fireflies, can also view a 3D model of the planned Scout Motors Production Center until December 31st.
Scout Motors plans to open a public showroom in the First Base Building in the coming months, providing an opportunity for the community to learn more about the company and its future plans. This further strengthens its commitment to local integration and engagement.
The new office opening coincides with the company’s ongoing recruitment efforts for its manufacturing operations. In August, the company announced the hiring of key South Carolina-based personnel, including Chief Production Officer Dr. Jan Spies, HR Director Corey Epps, and S.C. Liaison Punam Patel.
