Powertrain and Range
The press release from Seres omits powertrain details, but supplementary filings and industry reporting fill in the picture. The M6 is available in both BEV and EREV configurations.
The pure electric variant uses an 800-volt high-voltage platform with a 100 kWh battery pack supplied by CATL. It offers rear-wheel drive with a single 227 kW (304 hp) motor or all-wheel drive combining a 160 kW front motor and 180 kW rear motor for a total output of 340 kW (456 hp). CLTC range reaches up to 760 km (472 miles), depending on configuration.
The extended-range variant pairs front and rear dual motors (165 kW and 180 kW) with a 1.5T gasoline engine producing 112 kW as a range extender. Battery options include 37 kWh and 53.4 kWh packs, paired with a 60-liter fuel tank. WLTC combined range tops out at approximately 1,400 km (870 miles).
Dimensions and Interior
The M6 measures 4,960 mm long, 1,985 mm wide, and 1,736 mm tall, riding on a 2,950 mm wheelbase. Buyers can choose between 20-inch and 21-inch wheels. Top speed is rated at 200 km/h for both powertrain variants.
Inside, the cabin spans 1,915 mm in width. Seres highlights ergonomic seats and dual zero-gravity front seats. The infotainment system runs Huawei’s HarmonyOS Cockpit 5.
Pricing and Lineup Position
Pre-sale pricing starts at CNY 269,800 ($39,000 USD) for the EREV and CNY 289,800 ($41,900 USD) for the BEV. Higher-spec Ultra trims push the BEV to CNY 309,800 ($44,800 USD). Official on-sale timing is set for Q2 2026.
The M6 slots between the existing M5 (starting at CNY 229,800) and M7 (starting at CNY 279,800 following a recent refresh). With the M6 in place, AITO’s five-model SUV lineup now covers the CNY 230,000 to CNY 600,000 range.

AITO reached one million cumulative vehicles produced on January 13, 2026, achieving that mark in 46 months. The brand delivered 422,900 units in 2025, a 9.3% year-over-year increase. Seres has stated a goal of reaching a second one-million-unit milestone within the next two years as part of a broader global expansion push.
