The new Enyaq SportLine 85 models share their athletic appearance and engaging driving dynamics with the existing all-wheel-drive 85x version. However, the adoption of a single-motor, rear-wheel-drive configuration contributes to greater efficiency and longer driving ranges. Both the SUV and Coupé variants are equipped with an 82 kWh battery (77 kWh net capacity), powering a rear-mounted electric motor that produces 286 PS and 545 Nm of torque. This setup enables the vehicles to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in a brisk 6.7 seconds, with a maximum speed of 111 mph.
In terms of driving distance, the SportLine 85 SUV achieves up to 354 miles on the WLTP combined cycle. The more aerodynamically profiled Coupé variant extends this to 356 miles. These figures represent an improvement over the ranges offered by the all-wheel-drive 85x model.
Charging capabilities are robust, with DC rapid charging supported at speeds of up to 135kW. Under optimal conditions, this allows for a 10% to 80% battery charge in approximately 28 minutes. For AC charging, the vehicles can handle up to 11kW.

Škoda has ensured that the SportLine 85 models come with a generous standard specification that complements their sporty character. Standard exterior features include 20-inch Vega black alloy wheels, distinct sports bumpers, and gloss black styling accents. Inside the cabin, drivers will find a head-up display (HUD), front sports seats, a sports steering wheel, and a premium CANTON sound system.
To enhance the driving experience, both the SUV and Coupé versions are fitted with progressive dynamic steering and a sports suspension. This suspension setup lowers the ride height by 15mm at the front and 10mm at the rear, contributing to sharper handling. Practicality is also addressed with the inclusion of a variable boot floor and an Area View camera as standard equipment.
This expansion of the Enyaq family underscores Škoda’s commitment to growing its electric vehicle portfolio, offering diverse options to meet varying customer preferences for performance, range, and drivetrain configurations. The introduction of the SportLine 85 provides another appealing choice within the increasingly competitive electric vehicle market.
