The Škoda Epiq will open UK order books in July 2026 priced from £24,950 OTR, achieving price parity with the petrol-powered Kamiq and becoming the brand’s most affordable electric model. Škoda confirmed final UK specifications and trim pricing this week, with two grades — SE L and Edition — joining a limited launch-spec Epiq First Edition. The compact SUV crossover offers a WLTP range of up to 272 miles and DC fast charging from 10% to 80% in under 25 minutes, with full specifications published on the Škoda UK Epiq range page. WLTP figures are typically more optimistic than the EPA cycle used in North America.
Highlights
- Pricing starts at £24,950 OTR for the Epiq SE L 40, rising to £31,450 for the First Edition
- Two batteries offered in the UK: 37 kWh usable (LFP) on the Epiq 40 and 52 kWh usable (NMC) on the Epiq 55
- WLTP range of 190 miles on the Epiq 40 and 272 miles on the Epiq 55, with peak DC charging of 105 kW on the larger pack
- Order books open in July 2026, initially limited to SE L and Edition trims paired with the 55 battery

How Far Does the Epiq Go on a Charge?
The Epiq is offered with two battery and powertrain combinations in the UK, both driving the front wheels. The Epiq 40 pairs a 37 kWh usable lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) battery with a 135 PS motor and is rated at around 190 miles on the WLTP cycle. The Epiq 55 uses a 52 kWh usable nickel-manganese-cobalt (NMC) battery and a 211 PS motor, extending the WLTP range to 272 miles. The Epiq 55 supports DC fast charging at a peak of 105 kW, and Škoda reports that both batteries charge from 10% to 80% in under 25 minutes. All variants include 11 kW AC charging as standard and support bidirectional charging — covering Vehicle-to-Load, Vehicle-to-Home and Vehicle-to-Grid, subject to compatible infrastructure.
The Epiq also offers full one-pedal driving in B mode, with switchable regeneration intensity. WLTP range figures are not directly comparable with the EPA cycle used in the US market.
First Škoda on MEB+
The Epiq is the first Škoda model built on the Volkswagen Group’s new MEB+ platform, and the brand’s first all-electric model with front-wheel drive. The architecture is designed for smaller, lighter traction batteries and is shared across other Brand Group Core small EVs including the Volkswagen ID. Polo, ID. Cross and Cupra Raval. Both axles use disc brakes, with ventilated discs at the front; the rear axle relies entirely on friction braking, which Škoda says reduces oxidation through more frequent use.
The Epiq follows Škoda’s Elroq into the UK market with a sub-£32,000 ceiling on the standard range, sitting one segment below it in the line-up. The brand’s wider strategy positions the Epiq and the upcoming Peaq to double Škoda’s all-electric portfolio.

Design and Cabin
The Epiq is the first Škoda production model to fully adopt the Modern Solid design language, including a new T-shaped front and rear light signature and the glossy black Tech-Deck Face. Aerodynamic measures including active cooling shutters, Air Curtain channels, a rear diffuser and roof finlets contribute to a drag coefficient of 0.275. The UK car measures 4,171 mm long with a 2,601 mm wheelbase and offers a 475-liter boot plus a 25-liter front compartment, or frunk.
Six exterior colors are offered at UK launch, including the no-cost Marble Grey solid finish and an exclusive Jasper Red metallic. Standard wheels are 18 inches, rising to 20 inches on the First Edition. Inside, the Epiq is the first Škoda series-production model to use exclusively animal-free materials, with Techtona — a leather alternative — replacing animal hides and 100% recycled polyester textile upholstery across the range. Škoda reports the car incorporates more than 34 kilograms of recycled materials in total.
What’s Standard on SE L and Edition
The entry SE L specification includes 18-inch Plover alloy wheels, the Loft Grey interior Design Selection, LED headlights, a 13-inch infotainment touchscreen, a five-inch digital cockpit, wireless Smartlink, rear parking sensors, single-zone climate control, keyless start/stop and adaptive cruise control.
The Edition trim adds 18-inch Saola alloy wheels, electrically folding and auto-dimming door mirrors with boarding spots and floor projection, satellite navigation, a rear-view camera with front parking sensors, heated front seats, a heated two-spoke steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, wireless charging with active cooling, tow bar preparation, drive mode select, keyless entry with walk-away locking and mobile digital key, Travel Assist Plus, and bidirectional charging capability.

First Edition Details
The Epiq First Edition is built on the Epiq 55 powertrain, delivering 155 kW (211 PS) and 290 Nm of torque, with a WLTP range of around 272 miles and 10–80% DC charging in 24 minutes. Distinguishing features include Navajo Orange accents on the wing-mirror caps, side window trim, wheel covers and bumper intake surrounds, a two-tone paint finish with a black roof, exclusive 20-inch alloy wheels, and a black First Edition badge on the tailgate. The cabin adds orange stitching across the steering wheel, seats and dashboard, orange seat belts, a three-spoke sports steering wheel, black headlining, sports pedal covers and decorative door sills. The First Edition includes the Convenience and Tech Packages as standard.
Safety and Driver Assistance
The Epiq’s standard safety package includes Front Assist, Side Assist with Rear Traffic Alert and Exit Warning, Lane Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, Predictive Speed Limiter, Intelligent Speed Assist, an upgraded Driver Alert system that monitors fatigue via an interior camera, and seven airbags, including a center airbag. Travel Assist Plus is fitted to the Edition trim from launch.
