Škoda Peaq Electric SUV Debuts With 600-km Range

Škoda's fully electric Peaq SUV seats seven, offers over 600 km of range, and introduces V2L, V2H, and a Sonos audio partnership to the brand's expanding EV lineup.

Škoda Auto has unveiled the Peaq, its largest fully electric SUV. The seven-seat model is built on Volkswagen Group’s Modular Electrification Toolkit (MEB) platform and will enter production at the brand’s Mladá Boleslav facility in mid-2026. With a range exceeding 600 kilometers (373 miles), the Peaq expands Škoda’s battery-electric lineup as the brand works to double its EV model count this year.

Highlights

  • The Peaq measures nearly 4.9 meters long, seats up to seven adults, and offers up to 890 liters of cargo space with the third row folded.
  • Three powertrain variants deliver between 150 kW and 220 kW, with DC fast charging from 10% to 80% in as little as 27 minutes.
  • A new Relax Package includes AGR-certified massage seats, ergonomic leg rests, and a wellness app, alongside a Sonos-developed premium audio system.
  • The model introduces Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) bidirectional charging capability for Škoda’s electric range.

Dimensions and Interior Layout

At nearly 4.9 meters in length, 1.7 meters in height, and with a wheelbase of 2,965 millimeters, the Peaq is the largest model in Škoda’s current portfolio. The seven-seat configuration provides 299 liters of boot space, expanding to 890 liters with the third row folded. A 37-liter front trunk adds additional storage.

Five interior design options are available, including a Sportline variant. Top-tier Suite Design Selection trims use Techtona, a leather alternative, while selected interiors are animal-free and incorporate more than 50 kg of recycled materials. Leather upholstery will follow later in the year.

All variants include ambient lighting and a heated multifunction steering wheel as standard.

Charging

Powertrain and Charging

Škoda will offer the Peaq in three powertrain configurations: the 60, 90, and 90x. Output ranges from 150 kW to 220 kW. The 90 and 90x variants deliver more than 600 kilometers of range. DC fast charging restores 10% to 80% capacity in 28 minutes for the 90 and 90x variants, and 27 minutes for the 60.

The all-wheel-drive 90x variant accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds.

Comfort and Audio Features

The optional Relax Package targets long-distance comfort. It includes AGR-certified seats with massage functionality, electrically adjustable leg rests, front pillows, a foldable table, and a wellness app with six modes covering relaxation, stretching, and energizing. The system adjusts climate control, ambient lighting, and seat functions simultaneously.

Additionally, Škoda has partnered with Sonos for a co-developed premium audio system. The setup delivers three-dimensional sound reproduction adapted specifically for in-car use.

Klaus Zellmer, Škoda Auto CEO, said: “The Škoda Peaq is designed for real life – for families who need space, for drivers who want confidence on long journeys, and for anyone who values modern style without compromise. As our next flagship, it raises the Škoda brand to a new level: more spacious, more practical, and more attractive for everyday explorers.”

Design and Exterior Details

The Peaq is the production realization of Škoda’s Vision 7S concept and represents the most developed application of the brand’s Modern Solid design language to date. Features include an illuminated Tech-Deck Face front panel with vertical slats and LED backlighting, full LED Matrix headlights with 18 light segments, and flush-retracting door handles that improve aerodynamic efficiency.

Oliver Stefani, Head of Škoda Design, said: “The confident presence of the Škoda Peaq is defined by our Modern Solid design principles, by clarity, simplicity, and a clear focus on functionality and space.”

Alloy wheel sizes range from 19 to 21 inches. Ten exterior paint finishes are available.

Panoramic Roof and Infotainment

The Peaq features the largest panoramic roof ever fitted to a Škoda model. It uses electrochromic Dynamic Shade Control technology, dividing the roof into nine segments with three presets and manual configuration via the infotainment display.

Inside, a new Android-based infotainment system runs native Škoda apps alongside third-party services such as Spotify, YouTube, and Google Maps. The system pairs a 10-inch driver display with a 13.6-inch vertical touchscreen. A digital mobile key enables smartphone or smartwatch access in place of a conventional key. An augmented-reality head-up display is optional.

V2L and V2H Capability

The Peaq supports Vehicle-to-Load (V2L), allowing the high-voltage battery to power external devices such as e-bikes or caravans. In combination with the Ambibox DC Wallbox from Volkswagen Group brand Moon Power, the model also supports Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) bidirectional charging to supply energy to buildings.

Sportline Variant

A Sportline version will be available from launch. It features glossy black exterior accents, 20-inch standard alloy wheels (21-inch optional), electrically adjustable sports seats with enhanced lateral support, a three-spoke steering wheel with regenerative braking paddles, and a signature black roof option.
