Stellantis Showcases Electrified Lineup at Paris Motor Show

Stellantis brands Citroën, Peugeot, and Alfa Romeo unveiled their latest electrified vehicles at the 2024 Paris Motor Show. The event featured new battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and Leapmotor’s debut of the B10 compact SUV. Stellantis emphasized its commitment to clean, safe, and affordable mobility for all consumers.

Stellantis

The Paris Motor Show allowed Stellantis to demonstrate its vision of electrified and accessible transportation while advancing the Dare Forward 2030 plan, aiming for carbon neutrality by 2038 and expanding the global BEV portfolio to over 75 models by 2030. Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares also addressed the industry’s challenges at the Paris Automotive Summit, reinforcing the company’s role in providing sustainable and affordable mobility solutions for global markets.

The Peugeot lineup was expanded with the E-408 world premiere and new versions of the E-3008 (700 km range) and E-5008 (668 km range). Citroën introduced all-electric versions of the C4 and C4 X along with a new concept for the C5 Aircross. Additionally, Alfa Romeo revealed the Junior Ibrida, a 136-hp hybrid, and two power variants of the Elettrica.

Leapmotor

Leapmotor International, a joint venture led by Stellantis, debuted the B10 SUV along with other urban EVs, highlighting Stellantis’ approach to incorporating affordable Chinese electric vehicles into global markets. This move aligns with their Dare Forward 2030 strategy, aiming to make 50% of all new vehicle sales BEVs in Europe and 25% in the U.S. by the end of the decade.

Stellantis reaffirmed its commitment to becoming carbon net zero by 2038, starting with a 50% reduction in emissions by 2030. They plan to reach a global annual BEV sales target of 5 million vehicles by 2030, further solidifying their position as a leader in sustainable mobility.
