The Urban Cruiser is part of Toyota’s multi-path strategy to broaden its electrified offerings, including plug-in hybrids, full hybrids, and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. By 2026, Toyota aims to have 15 zero-emission models, driving the company’s mission to achieve 100% CO2 reduction by 2035 and full carbon neutrality by 2040.

Impactful Design

The Urban Cruiser sets itself apart with its strong SUV stance and compact yet dynamic proportions. Measuring 4,285 mm in length and 1,800 mm in width, it features a turning radius of just 5.2 meters for enhanced maneuverability. Customers can choose between 18-inch and 19-inch alloy wheels, with bi-tone exterior color options available.

Interior Versatility

The SUV’s spacious cabin is made possible by a longer wheelbase, offering adjustable seating configurations for maximum flexibility. Ambient lighting, premium upholstery, and a high-seating position combine for a refined yet robust interior design.

Multiple Powertrain Options

The Urban Cruiser offers two battery choices with front-wheel and all-wheel drive options:

  • 49 kWh (FWD): 106 kW (144 hp) and 189 Nm torque.
  • 61 kWh (FWD): 128 kW (174 hp) and 189 Nm torque.
  • 61 kWh (AWD): 135 kW (184 hp) and 300 Nm torque.

All variants include a heat pump for air conditioning and a manual battery pre-heating system, optimizing performance in colder climates.

Drivers will benefit from an integrated 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch multimedia display.
