VinFast, a Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer, has launched its VF 6 electric SUV in the Philippines at the 2025 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS). Alongside the vehicle debut, the company introduced a free charging program at V-GREEN stations and partnered with local dealerships and banks to promote sustainable mobility. These efforts highlight VinFast’s dedication to accelerating green transportation in the region.

The VF 6, a B-segment electric SUV, comes in two trims: Eco at 1,419,000 PHP and Plus at 1,610,000 PHP. Deliveries of the Eco trim begin in May 2025. Designed with Torino Design, it features a modern look inspired by “The Duality in Nature,” with dimensions of 4,241 x 1,834 x 1,580 mm and a 2,730 mm wheelbase, offering spaciousness akin to C-segment vehicles. Its electric motor provides up to 150 kW of power and torque of 250 Nm (Eco) or 310 Nm (Plus), achieving a range of 480 km per charge (NEDC standard). Safety is enhanced with 20 advanced driver-assistance systems and 8 airbags.
VinFast’s free charging initiative at V-GREEN stations runs until May 1, 2027, eliminating fuel costs for users. V-GREEN plans to install 15,000 charging ports across the Philippines in 2025. Strategic partnerships with EastWest Bank and BDO aim to ease EV adoption through tailored financing options. The company is also expanding its network, targeting 100 showrooms and service centers by year-end 2025 with partners like Motech and JIGA.
The VF 6 joins VinFast’s lineup in the Philippines, including the VF 3, VF 5, VF 7, and VF 9, all showcased at MIAS 2025. It offers a 7-year or 160,000 km warranty and a buyback program retaining up to 90% of its value.
