VinFast Auto reported delivering 196,919 electric vehicles (EVs) globally in 2025, marking a 102% increase year-over-year. The company’s preliminary and unaudited financial results for the fourth quarter show significant improvements in gross margin and revenue driven by scale and cost optimization. Total revenue for the full year reached $3,599.7 million, an increase of 105.4% from 2024.

Financial Performance and Scale
Total revenues for the fourth quarter of 2025 were VND 39,411.7 billion ($1,568.9 million), a 138.9% increase from the same period in 2024. This growth reflects a sharp rise in vehicle deliveries and optimized cost structures.
Gross margin for the fourth quarter improved to negative 39.9%, compared to negative 79.1% in the fourth quarter of 2024. The company attributes these gains to the benefits of scale and improved operational efficiency across its manufacturing footprint.
Global Manufacturing and Market Expansion
VinFast now operates four manufacturing facilities with a combined annual capacity of 600,000 EVs. The company inaugurated new plants in Ha Tinh (Vietnam), Tamil Nadu (India), and Subang (Indonesia) during 2025.
The brand also strengthened its presence in Asian markets, ending 2025 as a top battery EV provider in Indonesia and the Philippines. In India, VinFast climbed to the number four position among battery EV brands by December 2025.
Advanced Technology and Robotics
The company is collaborating with VinRobotics to integrate intelligent robotics and physical AI into its production lines. This partnership aims to improve factory productivity, quality control, and long-term structural cost improvements.
In the field of automated driving, VinFast is working with Tensor to industrialize Level 4 autonomous robocars. The company also maintains an in-house research institute focused on Level 2+ and Level 2++ driver assistance systems.
