Nissan has named its upcoming all-electric A-segment city car PIXO, with a full reveal scheduled for September 23, 2026. The company announced the name this week to coincide with World EV Day and released a PIXO teaser video ahead of the debut. According to Nissan, the car is built in Europe for European drivers and marks the brand’s return to the region’s A-segment.
Where PIXO Fits in Nissan’s European EV Lineup
PIXO joins the all-electric MICRA and LEAF in Nissan’s European electric vehicle lineup, with the JUKE EV set to follow. The company positions PIXO as a more accessible entry point to everyday electric driving for customers across the region.
Nissan says the model was created for urban use, combining compact dimensions with what it describes as intuitive technology and Nissan design. The company has not yet disclosed powertrain, battery, range, pricing, or production-site details.
What Happens on September 23?
Nissan will hold the full PIXO reveal on September 23, 2026. The company says additional details will be released at that time.
