VinFast has launched the VF 7, a C-segment all-electric SUV, in Indonesia, marking its fifth model in the country. This right-hand-drive vehicle strengthens VinFast’s position as a leader in Indonesia’s electric vehicle (EV) market, offering a diverse lineup. The VF 7 combines modern design, advanced technology, and competitive pricing, catering to urban Indonesian drivers seeking sustainable mobility. Unveiled at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2025, the VF 7 is available in two variants: VF 7 Eco and VF 7 Plus.

- Two Variants: VF 7 Eco and VF 7 Plus, priced at IDR 499,000,000 and IDR 599,000,000, respectively (on-the-road, battery included).

Design and Features
The VF 7 showcases the Asymmetric Aerospace design by Torino Design, featuring V-shaped LED light strips, a coupe-style roof, and up to 19-inch alloy wheels. Its dimensions (4,545 mm length, 1,890 mm width, 1,635.75 mm height, 190 mm ground clearance) ensure a spacious cabin with premium leather seats, a 12.9-inch touchscreen, a heads-up display, and a two-tone D-cut steering wheel. Buyers can choose from five exterior colors and two interior options, with the Plus variant offering a two-tone interior.
Performance and Range
The VF 7 Plus boasts dual electric motors with 349 horsepower and 500 Nm torque, paired with a 70.8 kWh battery for a 471 km range (NEDC standard). The VF 7 Eco features a single motor with 174 horsepower, 250 Nm torque, and a 59.6 kWh battery, offering a 430 km range. The Plus model suits long-distance drivers, while the Eco is ideal for urban commutes.
Safety and Technology
Equipped with seven airbags and advanced safety systems like ABS, ESC, and Hill Start Assist, the VF 7 prioritizes safety. The Plus variant includes a robust ADAS package with 17 features, such as Highway Assist, Traffic Jam Assist, and 360 Surround View Monitoring. Complimentary OTA updates ensure ongoing technological enhancements.
Sales and Promotions
Orders for the VF 7 can be placed at VinFast dealerships or the company’s booth at GIIAS 2025 (July 24–August 3, 2025). Deliveries are expected within 2025. VinFast offers promotions for other models, including IDR 5,000,000 accessory vouchers for VF 3 buyers and IDR 6,000,000 travel vouchers for VF e34 and VF 6 buyers. The company’s partnership with V-GREEN provides free charging, and 0% interest financing enhances affordability.
