Volkswagen Reveals 2025 ID. Buzz Pricing and Range

Volkswagen of America has announced the pricing and EPA-estimated range for the 2025 ID. Buzz, the electric reincarnation of the iconic Microbus. The ID. Buzz will debut later this year with a starting price of $59,995 for the Pro S model. The vehicle offers a range of up to 234 miles on rear-wheel-drive models and 231 miles on all-wheel-drive 4Motion® models. Additionally, Volkswagen has unveiled two new interior color options: Copper and Moonlight, exclusive to North American models.

Pro S Model Features

The entry-level ID. Buzz Pro S, priced at $59,995, is a rear-wheel-drive model accommodating up to seven passengers. It offers standard features like 20-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, LED headlights, a 12.9-inch infotainment display, and a three-zone Climatronic® automatic climate control system. Interior color choices include Copper and Moonlight, complementing three exterior colors.

Pro S Plus Model Features

Starting at $63,495, the Pro S Plus adds premium content, including a head-up display, 700-watt harman/kardonTM sound system, and electrochromic panoramic smart glass roof. The model also offers eight two-tone exterior color options, with the choice of rear bench or captain’s chair seating.

Launch-Only 1st Edition

The 1st Edition model, starting at $65,495 for RWD and $69,995 for 4Motion AWD, features exclusive design elements, including 20-inch wheels, roof rail cross bars, and 1st Edition badging. It comes standard with the coastal-inspired Dune interior and includes the electrochromic panoramic glass roof and a Flexboard for added cargo flexibility.

Volkswagen’s announcement underscores the company’s commitment to blending classic design with modern electric performance in the ID. Buzz. The electric Microbus is set to make a significant impact as it rolls into American driveways later this year.
