XPENG has officially entered the Irish market by partnering with Motor Distributors Limited (MDL) as the exclusive importer and distributor of its all-electric vehicles. This move underscores XPENG’s commitment to expanding in Europe and delivering AI-driven, sustainable mobility to a rapidly growing market. The launch will feature the highly anticipated XPENG G6, a mid-sized, ultra-smart coupe SUV designed for Irish drivers seeking innovative, eco-friendly transportation solutions.

With Ireland witnessing rapid growth in the EV sector, driven by government incentives, enhanced infrastructure, and rising consumer interest, XPENG’s partnership with MDL aims to address this escalating demand. MDL, a seasoned distributor of cars and commercial vehicles, brings to the table extensive market expertise and a well-established network, bolstering XPENG’s expansion efforts. The two companies plan to develop a network of dealerships, making XPENG’s cutting-edge electric vehicles accessible to Irish consumers.
The first model to be introduced is the XPENG G6, an ultra-smart coupe SUV that blends premium technology with top-tier capabilities, such as 800-volt supercharging and an extended driving range. This model is tailored to European preferences and promises an advanced driving experience that matches Irish consumers’ increasing focus on eco-friendly and high-performance solutions.

By the end of 2025, XPENG aims to be present in over 60 global markets, with a goal of generating half of its sales from international markets.
