Chinese automaker XPENG unveiled the P7+ electric fastback at the 2026 Brussels Motor Show on January 9, marking the vehicle’s European premiere. The P7+ becomes XPENG’s third model manufactured locally through its partnership with Magna Steyr in Graz, Austria, with deliveries scheduled to begin in April across 25 European markets starting at €43,990.
Highlights
- 800V LFP battery platform enables 10-80% charging in 12 minutes with up to 446 kW DC fast charging capability
- Turing AI chip delivers 750 TOPS of computing power for advanced driver assistance systems
- European production at Magna Steyr facility supports April 2026 delivery start across 25 markets
- WLTP range spans 455-530 km depending on variant, with three powertrain configurations available

800V Charging and Battery Specifications
The P7+ utilizes an 800V Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) 5C battery platform available in two configurations: 61.7 kWh and 74.9 kWh. The architecture supports 10-80% charging in approximately 12 minutes when connected to compatible high-power chargers.
Select variants accommodate up to 446 kW DC fast charging, while an 11 kW three-phase AC charger comes standard. WLTP-rated driving range reaches 455 km for the RWD Standard Range, 530 km for the RWD Long Range, and 500 km for the AWD Performance variant.
Turing AI Chip Powers ADAS Functions
The proprietary Turing AI chip architecture provides up to 750 tera operations per second (TOPS) of computing power—more than double that of the original P7+ launched in China in 2024. This platform supports enhanced perception, rapid data processing, and advanced driver assistance systems.
The vehicle’s ADAS capabilities include automated lane changes, adaptive cruising, and parking assistance. Over-the-air (OTA) updates enable ongoing feature additions throughout the vehicle’s lifecycle.
Interior technology includes:
- 15.6-inch central display with AI-driven interactive system
- 8.8-inch instrument cluster
- W-HUD head-up display projecting driving information

Platform and Dimensions
The P7+ measures 5,071 mm in length, 1,937 mm in width, and 1,512 mm in height, supported by a 3,000 mm wheelbase. Cargo capacity reaches 573 liters, expanding to 1,931 liters with rear seats folded.
The chassis features front double-wishbone and rear five-link suspension. Structural safety elements include a 2,000 MPa ultra-high-strength safety cage, multi-layer battery protection, and 14 active safety systems.
Powertrain Options
The P7+ launches with three powertrain configurations:
| Variant | Drivetrain | Power Output | Torque | 0-100 km/h |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| RWD Standard Range | 2WD | 180 kW (245 hp) | 450 N·m | 6.9 seconds |
| RWD Long Range | 2WD | 230 kW (313 hp) | 450 N·m | 6.2 seconds |
| AWD Performance | 4WD | 370 kW (503 hp) | 670 N·m | 4.3 seconds |
Towing capacity reaches 1,500 kg with trailer brakes or 750 kg without.
European Manufacturing and Market Expansion
Pilot production has been completed at Magna Steyr’s Graz facility. The P7+ follows the New G6 and New G9 as XPENG’s third European-manufactured model.
