XPENG, a prominent Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer, has teamed up with Plugsurfing, a leading EV charging service provider in Europe. This partnership grants XPENG customers access to a vast network of over 940,000 charging points spanning 27 European countries. By integrating Plugsurfing’s technology, XPENG aims to simplify and enhance the charging experience for its European drivers, supporting the company’s expansion in the region.

This collaboration integrates Plugsurfing’s network, which connects 500 charge point operators across the EU, into XPENG’s in-car system and mobile app. Drivers can locate charging stations effortlessly, with details like availability, pricing, and distance displayed on the vehicle’s touchscreen. The system supports seamless navigation and payments, making charging quick and convenient.
XPENG has customized the experience for European users, offering tools like long-distance trip planning and voice search. Customers can start charging using the XPENG app or a Plugsurfing card, with new owners receiving a free card upon purchase. Existing users can activate the service by registering in the app.
Since entering Europe in 2021, XPENG has grown its presence across 16 countries, with plans to reach Austria, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia. This partnership strengthens XPENG’s commitment to delivering advanced, accessible EV solutions, reinforcing its role in Europe’s electric vehicle market.
