The Zeekr 9X posted a Net Promoter Score of 83.9 in a first-half 2026 study of China’s new energy vehicle market, the highest recommendation score among vehicles priced above RMB 500,000 (about $73,000), according to Geely Auto Group. The finding comes from the 2026 First-Half New Energy Vehicle Brand Health Study, conducted by China-based consultancy LandRoads, which surveyed more than 10,000 new energy vehicle owners. Geely credited the Zeekr 9X‘s standing to the brand’s recent emphasis on product-update transparency, steadier pricing, and more direct communication with customers. The company said those priorities are meant to shore up owner confidence as rapid product turnover and frequent price changes across the industry increasingly shape buyer expectations.

What the Recommendation Study Measured
LandRoads’ Brand Health Study draws on responses from more than 10,000 new energy vehicle owners in China and is designed to gauge satisfaction and brand health across price tiers. The Zeekr 9X’s 83.9 score placed it ahead of other vehicles in the above-RMB-500,000 segment, which Geely Auto Group said reflects strong reception in one of the country’s most competitive high-value vehicle segments.
Geely attributed the improvement in owner recommendation to specific changes in Zeekr’s brand and customer strategy: greater transparency when products are updated, a steadier approach to pricing, and more direct communication with owners. The company framed these as responses to broader industry conditions, where fast product cycles and frequent price adjustments can unsettle buyer confidence in long-term vehicle value.
Sales Momentum Builds Around Flagship Models
Zeekr has now recorded five straight months of both year-over-year and month-over-month sales growth in China, the company said. Its three flagship models — the Zeekr 009, 9X, and Zeekr 8X — together account for close to half of the brand’s total sales, a shift Geely said reflects a gradual move in Zeekr’s product mix toward higher-value segments.
International Expansion Continues
Zeekr has expanded into more than 50 countries and regions across Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Oceania, and Latin America, backed by a growing network of sales, delivery, and aftersales operations, according to Geely. The brand’s current international lineup includes the Zeekr 001, 009, X, 7X, and Zeekr 7GT. Geely said Zeekr is preparing to deliver the 9X internationally for the first time, with initial units reaching select Middle Eastern markets during the second half of 2026.
