Polestar has introduced the 2025 model year Polestar 2, featuring design updates, a revised pack structure, expanded customization options, and increased range for all versions. Initially launched in Europe and Canada, other markets will follow later in 2024.
Key Highlights
- New Exterior Colors: The Polestar 2 now offers two new exterior colors. Vapour, a contemporary shade with a light metallic effect inspired by modern city architecture, replaces Magnesium as the standard color. Storm, a dark aluminum color first seen on the Polestar 4, replaces Thunder in the Polestar 2 palette. Additionally, the car features new 19-inch Aero alloy wheels with aero inserts and new 20-inch Pro graphite alloy wheels available with the Pro Pack.
- Interior Upgrades: Inside, the Polestar 2 now includes animal welfare-secured Charcoal Nappa leather upholstery from Bridge of Weir. The Pro Pack also introduces a distinctive new seatbelt design, featuring black with a Swedish Gold stripe running its entire length.
- Pack Structure and Customization: Starting with the 2025 model year, the Polestar 2’s pack structure aligns with those of the Polestar 3 and Polestar 4. This alignment allows for more single options, offering customers greater freedom to personalize their vehicles. The Climate Pack includes a heat pump, heated rear seats, heated steering wheel, and heating for the washer fluid nozzles. The Pro Pack offers 20-inch alloy wheels and Swedish Gold detailing on the seatbelt and tire valve caps. The Pilot Pack, Plus Pack, and Performance Packs complete the remaining pack structure.
- Enhanced Range: All versions of the Polestar 2 now boast an improved range, with the Long range Single Motor version offering up to 659 km (WLTP). In Europe, the Standard range Single Motor version receives an upgraded 70 kWh CATL battery, extending the range to up to 554 km (WLTP).
Since deliveries began in 2020, more than 160,000 units of the award-winning Polestar 2 have been delivered across 27 markets worldwide.
