BYD Group is displaying six vehicles at Fleet Mobility Live 2026 in Birmingham, UK, led by the DENZA Z9 GT, which the company says charges from 10% to 70% in five minutes. BYD is using the NEC event, which it describes as Europe’s largest fleet show, to introduce its premium DENZA brand to UK fleet managers. Plug-in hybrid and battery-electric BYD passenger and commercial models join the Z9 GT on the stand, along with a FLASH Charging unit.

Why Is BYD Bringing DENZA to UK Fleets?
BYD positions DENZA as a premium option in fleet segments where it says buyers have had limited electrified choices.

FLASH Charging and the DENZA Z9 GT
The stand pairs the Z9 GT with a unit demonstrating BYD’s FLASH Charging technology. BYD says the charger’s T-shaped design with rail-mounted cables makes the cable feel significantly lighter to handle than existing rapid chargers.
The Z9 GT launches with a fully electric, three-motor powertrain and a 373-mile WLTP range. BYD calls it the first car in the UK able to use FLASH Charging’s full speed. The company reports a five-minute 10–70% charge adds 223 miles of WLTP range, and a nine-minute 10–97% charge adds 323 miles. BYD argues that reduced downtime, multiplied across large fleets, benefits operators. The DENZA D9 DM-i MPV and the DENZA Z supercar will also support FLASH Charging.
New Super Hybrid Models: SHARK and Ti 7
The SHARK pickup combines three motors, one on each axle plus a generator motor, with a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine. BYD cites 0–62 mph in 5.7 seconds. A 32.2 kWh Blade Battery supports 55.9 miles of electric-only driving.
The Ti 7 seven-seat SUV is BYD’s entry into the seven-seat SUV class. Its DM-p powertrain delivers 402 hp (408 PS) and all-wheel drive, with a 74-mile electric-only range.
Battery-Electric Fleet Models
BYD is also showing the two battery-electric models it says are its most popular with fleets:
- SEAL: 2026 revisions include minor cosmetic changes, additional exterior colors, a new 19-inch wheel design, expanded ADAS content, and repackaged front and rear storage. The trunk now holds 17.1 cubic feet (485 liters), 3.0 cubic feet (85 liters) more than the original SEAL.
- SEALION 7: In range-topping Excellence trim, with Nappa leather, a 91.3 kWh battery delivers a 312-mile WLTP combined range. Rapid charging peaks at 230 kW.
The DOLPHIN Cargo e-Van marks BYD’s move into small commercial vehicles. Based on the DOLPHIN hatchback, it replaces the rear seats with a 38.6-cubic-foot (1,093-liter) cargo area and shares the hatchback’s powertrain.
Range figures cited as WLTP follow the European test cycle, which typically rates higher than US EPA testing. These UK-market vehicles carry no EPA rating.
