All-new fully-electric EQE Sedan to start from $74,900

Mercedes-Benz USA Announces Pricing and Packaging Structures for all-new EQE Sedan

ATLANTA – The new EQE Sedan is the latest all-electric model from Mercedes-Benz based on the Mercedes-EQ premium-class electric architecture (EVA2). The sporty ‘purpose design’ exhibits all the characteristic elements of Mercedes-EQ, including aerodynamic one-bow lines and a striking cab-forward design. Starting from $74,900, and with up to 305 miles of range according to EPA estimates, the 2023 EQE Sedan is poised to set new standards in the luxury electric segment when it arrives in U.S. dealerships in the fall.

The 2023 EQE Sedan line-up features the EQE 350+ Sedan, EQE 350 4MATIC Sedan and EQE 500 4MATIC Sedan. Similar to the EQS Sedan, all models will be offered in Premium, Exclusive and Pinnacle Trims for the U.S. market. Each trim showcases EQ-specific innovative technologies and luxurious features, along with an array of additional options for further personalization.

The sleek exterior design beautifully reflects the overall Mercedes-EQ family design language of Sensual Purity with generously modeled surfaces, reduced joints and seamless transitions. The overhangs and the front end are kept short, while the rear provides a dynamic accent with a sharp rear spoiler. The black panel grille can be further enhanced with a Mercedes-Benz Star Pattern.

The Premium Trim features a generous level of standard equipment, including the MBUX infotainment system with 12.8″ OLED multimedia touchscreen portrait display and 12.3″ driver display. MBUX continues to evolve with the Zero Layer interface that enables the driver to access commonly used applications directly on the home screen. Electric Intelligence, an EQ-specific navigation system, factors the elements of electric driving, such as available charge, charging stations along the route and driving style into its route calculations and computes the energy demand of the route.

Additionally, topography, ambient temperature, heating and cooling requirements, speed and traffic are all taken into account, as well as charging station availability, capacity and payment functions. Active Range Monitoring ensures the driver reaches the destination safely, even if they miss a charging stop, by displaying a checkered flag in the speedometer showing the maximum speed to reach the destination.

EQE Sedan customers are provided with convenient use of charging stations from an extensive nationwide network through Mercedes me Charge, which offers a seamless integrated payment function with simple billing processes. Customers also benefit from the Mercedes-Benz USA collaboration with Electrify America that provides an unlimited number of 30–minute DC Fast Charging sessions throughout the entire Electrify America network at no additional cost for the first two years, from account activation.

The EQE Sedan features an expansive suite of enhanced active and passive Driver Assistance Systems as standard. Highlights include Blind Spot Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, LED Headlamps with Highbeam Assist and the Parking Package with Surround View System and PARKTRONIC. The integration of Parking Assist in MBUX makes operation intuitive and fast.

Driving in the EQE Sedab effortlessly becomes an acoustic experience with the standard Burmester® Sound System including EQ Sound Experience, Sound Personalization and Dolby Atmos. A variety of soundscapes allows for an individual acoustic set-up. Sound Experiences can be selected or switched off using the central display. An additional soundscape can be unlocked using over-the-air (OTA) technology. Aside from the sound system, the cabin itself has been insulated and refined to provide maximum refuge from outside noise and road vibrations.

Further standard comfort and convenience highlights include the 64-Color Ambient Lighting and heated front seats as well as the KEYLESS-GO Comfort Package. Also fitted standard is the power tilt and sliding panorama roof consisting of two modules that together form a large glass surface, providing a light and airy feeling inside the luxurious cabin. The available Energizing Air Control Plus feature, helps keep the atmosphere pure, filtering outside particles, including dust and pollution, and can even help reduce viruses and bacteria. Pre-entry climate control further allows drivers to purify the cabin air before entering the vehicle.

Fitted standard with a 90.6 kWh battery, the EQE 350+ delivers 305 miles of range according to EPA estimates.

The fully electric 2023 EQE Sedan will arrive at U.S. dealerships in fall 2022.
