Alpine has named the development mule for its third-generation A110 the A110 FUTURE, with the car set to run every day, July 9–12, at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in England. The mule previews the technology behind the next A110, which Alpine says will be the world’s first true EV sports car, built on the new Alpine Performance Platform. Alpine says the A110 FUTURE will anchor the brand’s strongest-ever Goodwood presence, spanning its full model range and a five-strong BWT Alpine Formula One Team driver lineup.
Highlights
- A110 FUTURE mule runs daily, July 9–12, at the Goodwood Festival of Speed
- Alpine Performance Platform uses two 800V cell-to-pack battery packs positioned for a 40/60 front-to-rear weight balance
- Five-strong BWT Alpine Formula One Team driver lineup headlined by Pierre Gasly and Franco Colapinto
- Alpine Moment on Thursday, July 9, pairs the A110 FUTURE with historic A110 models and an E20 Formula One car demonstration run

Alpine Performance Platform Underpins the Electric A110
The Alpine Performance Platform is engineered to address the technical demands of a genuine EV sports car, according to Alpine. An aluminum architecture is intended to provide the dynamic responsiveness the brand says defines the A110. Two battery packs are positioned to preserve a 40/60 front-to-rear weight balance, using 800V cell-to-pack technology with high energy density cells aimed at reducing weight and charging time.
A rear dual e-motor 3-in-1 e-axle, paired with a silicon carbide (SiC) inverter, is designed to deliver torque, performance, and rapid control response. The setup is completed by a full aluminum suspension and newly integrated braking and steering systems. Alpine says the combination is intended to outperform today’s combustion sports cars while remaining true to the A110’s dynamic character.
Goodwood Lineup Spans Alpine’s Full Range
This year’s festival will trace the A110’s evolution from rally icon to electric pioneer, according to Alpine, using landmark models to connect the brand’s past, present, and future. Joining the A110 FUTURE on the stand and hillclimb will be the A290, Alpine’s electric hot hatch, and the A390, a 470hp five-seat sport fastback.
A centerpiece of the event will be the Alpine Moment on Thursday, July 9, when a “Brand Parade” brings together the A110 FUTURE and landmark A110 models, capped by a demonstration run of Alpine’s E20 Formula One car.
Formula One Drivers Headline the Alpine Stand
Pierre Gasly and Franco Colapinto will lead the five-strong BWT Alpine Formula One Team driver lineup, joined by Alpine Academy and reserve drivers Nina Gademan, Paul Aron, and Alex Dunne. The Alpine stand will run interactive simulators, daily driver talks and signing sessions, and lunchtime DJ sets throughout the four-day event.
