Andersen’s home electric vehicle charge points are now available through John Lewis & Partners, with pricing starting at £1,130 (about $1,531) for an Andersen Quartz unit including installation. The UK manufacturer is the first home charge point brand carried by the British department store retailer, which lists the A2, A3 and Quartz models in a dedicated Andersen brand store on its website. Andersen builds the units in the UK and offers them in a range of colors and finishes intended to match a home or vehicle.

A First for the Retailer’s Electricals Range
Andersen is the first EV home charge point brand to be stocked by John Lewis, which has built the assortment as a standalone brand store rather than a line item inside its wider electricals catalog. Shoppers going through the retailer get access to a core selection of finishes rather than Andersen’s full configurator range, including standard colors alongside the two Accoya wood options.

Andersen describes itself as the UK’s designer charge point brand, with more than 200 color and finish combinations across metal and wooden fascias, and says its units are built at its facility in Bedfordshire.
What Hardware Configurations Are Available?
The three models split along cable design, with the newest unit offering the widest choice:
- A2 and A3 — both include hidden tethered Type 2 charging cables, a design Andersen says is unique to the EV charging sector
- Andersen Quartz — available in tethered and socketed configurations
- Power — 7 kW and 22 kW options
- Warranty — seven years, which the company says is the longest available on a UK home charge point
The A3 remains the range’s flagship, with the more compact Quartz positioned beneath it.
Installation and Concierge Service
Buyers purchasing through John Lewis receive the same service package Andersen provides on direct orders, with installation carried out by the company’s in-house engineering team rather than a third-party contractor network. Andersen’s Concierge Service is included at no additional cost and covers installation, initial setup and EV tariff selection, which the company says is intended to tune each installation to the household’s usage.
That service layer is the substance of what the retail tie-up carries over. For John Lewis, the arrangement extends its electricals range into home charging hardware; for Andersen, it adds a mainstream retail channel alongside its automaker relationships and direct sales.
