Humax EV Charging has partnered with Paua to bring home, workplace, public, and depot charging together for UK electric fleets on a single connected platform. The collaboration pairs the Humax MX7 Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G)-ready smart charger with Paua’s fleet charging platform, using ISO 15118 vehicle identification to automate home charging reimbursement based on actual energy usage.

How Does Vehicle Identification Automate Reimbursement?
When a compatible company vehicle plugs into the Humax MX7 at home, the charger’s ISO 15118 technology automatically identifies it. Paua then captures accurate charging data and reimburses the driver based on actual energy usage, eliminating manual expense claims and mileage-based estimates.
The MX7 supports both ISO 15118 and OCPP standards, and its intelligent authentication helps organizations separate business charging from private use — a persistent pain point for fleets whose drivers charge company vehicles on household electricity.
One Platform Across the Charging Estate
The partnership targets a structural problem in fleet electrification: many organizations still rely on separate charging providers, reimbursement tools, and reporting systems, making it difficult to gain a complete view of charging activity while increasing administration. By consolidating charging data, reimbursement, and reporting, Humax and Paua aim to give operators centralized visibility of charging activity, costs, and reporting across every location.

What Comes Next
The companies frame the agreement as a foundation for wider intelligent fleet charging. The forthcoming 22kW AC commercial charger will extend automatic vehicle-linked charging sessions to workplace and depot locations, building on the V2G-ready MX7 hardware Humax launched for the UK market. The move deepens Humax’s push into fleet services following its earlier fleet home charging collaboration with Rightcharge.
