The Andersen Quartz features a notably compact design, measuring 34% shorter and 45% narrower than its predecessor, the award-winning A3. Despite its smaller footprint, it offers extensive personalization, with over 100 color combinations for the fascia and body. Customers can further enhance its appearance with optional Accoya wood or carbon front fascia trim, ensuring it complements any home aesthetic.
This charge point caters to diverse needs with two configurations: a socketed version for those who prefer using their own cable, or a tethered option for added convenience. It can be specified as a 7kW single-phase unit for standard charging or a 22kW three-phase unit for faster charging, providing flexibility for different EV models and user preferences.
Incorporating advanced technology, the Quartz is fully compatible with solar power systems and optimized for low-cost electricity tariffs. This allows users to charge efficiently and economically. The refreshed Andersen app or an optional display screen offers seamless control, enabling users to monitor energy usage, track costs, and schedule charging sessions to reduce expenses or environmental impact.

Built by hand at Andersen’s Bedfordshire facility, the Quartz boasts durable, weatherproof cast-aluminum construction. The company has doubled its production capacity to meet anticipated demand, emphasizing sustainability with over 70% of components sourced in the UK. Priced at £685 (inc. VAT) for the unit or £1,105 (inc. VAT) with installation by Andersen’s expert team, it comes with a 7-year warranty, underscoring its reliability.
David Martell, CEO of Andersen, remarked: “As the EV market grows, we’re expanding our range to meet the needs of more customers seeking stylish, functional charge points. The Andersen Quartz reflects significant investment in R&D and production, making premium charging accessible to discerning drivers.”
Andersen continues to stand out as a UK-based EV charging innovator, blending design and practicality.
