Andersen EV has teamed up with luxury eco paint brand COAT to introduce six new timeless colors for its A3 home charger. This collaboration brings a unique palette to Andersen’s offerings, allowing customers to match their charge point with their interior design. The new COAT finishes, made using UK-sourced ingredients, were showcased at Grand Designs Live, demonstrating the innovation in premium electric vehicle charging.

Key Highlights:

  • Six new COAT colors added to Andersen’s A3 charge point.
  • Over 250 color combinations now available.
  • 7-year warranty on all Andersen charge points.
  • Collaboration featured at Grand Designs Live.

The six colors include:

  • Well Grounded: A rich biscuity beige.
  • Pan: A warm green with a yellow hint.
  • Mezcal: A burnt orange.
  • Nomad: An olive green.
  • Ciao, Sofia: A soft, mid-pink.
  • Trinket: A dusky royal purple with a hint of grey.

This partnership marks Andersen’s first special-edition collaboration that applies to the entire unit rather than just the fascia. Customers can choose these colors for both the front and side panels of the A3 charge point for an additional £250. The six new curated shades were showcased at Grand Designs Live, held at the NEC in Birmingham.

COAT, a B Corp Certified company and the first Climate Positive paint company, is committed to sustainability, ensuring they give back more to the environment than they take. Rob Abrahams, Co-Founder of COAT, expressed his excitement: “Our timeless color palette is often cited by our customers as their main reason for choosing COAT, so we’re excited to explore how our shades can be applied outside of the home. We’re delighted to be working with Andersen on our first exploration of this.”

The Andersen A3 charge point combines exceptional design with advanced charging technology, featuring over 200 color and finish combinations and a unique hidden cable. The A3 has received recognition since its launch in May 2024, including the Platinum London Design Award and ranking as the Best Charger for Quality in the 2024 What Car? home EV charger review.

Andersen also ensures high standards at every customer touchpoint through their in-house installation and customer service teams, with installation services recently attaining Which? Trusted Trader status. This accolade highlights Andersen’s dedication to quality and reliability in an increasingly competitive EV charging market.
