Atlas Technologies B.V. Declared Bankrupt, Lightyear Works with Trustee to Continue Operations

Netherlands – Lightyear’s operating company, Atlas Technologies B.V., has filed for suspension of payment proceedings, which was granted by the Rechtbank Oost-Brabant in the Netherlands. On January 23rd, the court declared Atlas Technologies B.V. bankrupt and appointed Mr. R. van Oeijen from Holla legal & tax as trustee.

Lightyear has expressed regret over the situation and assured its employees, customers, investors, and suppliers that it will work closely with the trustee to address their concerns. The trustee’s main focus in the coming period will be the welfare of the employees and creditors and the assessment of the continuation of the Lightyear concept.
