The Audi Q6 e-tron is setting standards in electric vehicle charging efficiency, offering a remarkable maximum charging power of 270 kilowatts. This power allows the vehicle to rapidly gain up to 255 kilometers of range in just ten minutes, making it a formidable player in the electric vehicle market. Additionally, the Q6 e-tron supports a sophisticated thermal management system and utilizes an 800-volt system to optimize both the driving experience and charging time.

The vehicle’s design incorporates an innovative battery structure consisting of twelve modules and offers a net storage capacity of 94.9 kWh. Underlining its efficiency, the car can recharge from 10% to 80% battery capacity in just 21 minutes using direct current (DC) fast charging. This capability is a direct result of the vehicle’s high-voltage architecture and the new battery management systems that Audi has integrated into the series.
For versatility in charging, the Audi Q6 e-tron is equipped with both direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC) charging options. It includes a CCS combo connector for charging, and a standard 11 kW AC charger, with an option to upgrade to a 22 kW charger. This flexibility ensures that owners can recharge their vehicles overnight conveniently.
“Plug & Charge” technology, available as a standard feature, represents a significant step forward in user convenience, eliminating the need to manually start the charging process. This feature is supported at IONITY stations and other networks, streamlining the interaction between the car and the charging infrastructure.
Reliable Charging Infrastructure
Audi’s commitment to building a reliable charging infrastructure is evident with their Audi charging service and Audi charging hubs. The service, launched in 2023, provides access to approximately 630,000 charging points across 29 countries in Europe. For urban residents, the Audi charging hubs feature high-power charging stations and are strategically placed in cities like Salzburg, Munich, and Frankfurt. These hubs not only offer rapid charging but are also equipped with lounge areas, enhancing the charging experience.
