Autel Energy deployed its MaxiCharger DC fast-charging lineup at a live demonstration event in Bangkok, Thailand, on April 10. The showcase at Beans2Cup@Ratchada featured three models — the MaxiCharger DS480, DT500, and DT800 — delivering up to 960 kW of output through 780A liquid-cooled charging cables.
Highlights
- A Zeekr 009 charged from 20% to 80% in 10 minutes during a live demonstration of Autel’s 780A liquid-cooled MaxiCharger system
- The MaxiCharger lineup supports output up to 960 kW across the DS480, DT500, and DT800 models
- Compatibility was tested across multiple brands, including Xpeng, Tesla, Mercedes-Benz, and Porsche
- The deployment is backed by infrastructure partners B2C Energy, ACharge, and Aplus Smart Mobility
Live Charging Results Across Multiple Brands
The event centered on real-world charging performance. In a headline test, an Autel MaxiCharger station charged a Zeekr 009 from 20% to 80% state of charge in approximately 10 minutes. The 780A liquid-cooled cables enable charging speeds that Autel says are among the fastest available in commercial DC infrastructure.
Additional vehicles on-site included the Xpeng X9 and G6, Tesla Model Y, and models from Mercedes-Benz and Porsche. Autel reported comparable charging performance across the range, positioning the system as brand-agnostic for high-current applications.
App Integration for Session Management
Alongside the hardware, Autel highlighted its companion mobile app, which allows drivers to initiate, monitor, and manage charging sessions remotely. The company said the interface is designed to reduce friction for both new and experienced EV drivers at public stations.
The app integration follows a broader trend among DC fast-charging providers to pair high-power hardware with streamlined digital tools that simplify the public charging experience in Southeast Asia.
Thailand Deployment Partners
The Bangkok installation operates through a partnership ecosystem that includes B2C Energy, ACharge, and Aplus Smart Mobility.
Tanapat Chaijaroenpat, Founder of B2C Energy, said, “Autel’s ultra-fast charging is a key step toward making EV adoption more practical.”
Surachai Pornchindachot, Co-Founder of B2C Energy, said, “By combining high-performance charging with seamless digital experience, Autel is helping build a more accessible EV charging ecosystem in Thailand.”
Thailand Market Context
The deployment adds to Autel’s expanding Southeast Asian footprint. The company previously installed a 400 kW MaxiCharger DS480 at Bangkok’s Central World in late 2025 and showcased its product line at EV Charge Live Thailand 2026 in January. Thailand remains one of the fastest-growing EV markets in the region, driven by government incentives and increasing domestic production capacity.
