Beam Global has launched the BeamWell™ water desalination and e-mobility system to provide clean water, electricity, and mobility in crisis zones. The system aims to address essential needs for regions facing humanitarian challenges, including areas affected by natural disasters or conflict. Imminent deployment is planned in the Middle East through partnerships with government agencies and NGOs.

Key Highlights:

  • BeamWell™ is based on patented EV ARC™ technology and offers a self-contained solution for clean water, power, and mobility.
  • Designed for use in war zones, remote areas, and disaster sites, it converts salt, brackish, or dirty water into potable water.
  • Integrated 3000-liter water storage, electricity for vital services, and charging for four Benzina Zero electric mopeds are part of the system.
  • The system is shipping-container-transportable, deploys in minutes, and operates off-grid.
Beam Global Unveils Crisis Water and Power Solution

BeamWell™ utilizes Beam Global’s patented EV ARC™ platform, enabling rapid deployment without requiring any supporting infrastructure or electrical work. The system is fully self-contained, portable, and designed to meet urgent needs in crisis situations by providing a sustainable source of clean water, reliable power, and the means to distribute aid efficiently.

The Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region faces severe water shortages, with an estimated 60 million people lacking access to clean drinking water. The ongoing conflict in Gaza has exacerbated these challenges, limiting access to safe water for nearly 2.3 million residents and increasing the spread of waterborne diseases. Beam Global’s BeamWell™ systems aim to address these issues by delivering critical resources to impacted areas.

“We are living in unprecedented times when wars and natural disasters such as the recent hurricanes in the U.S. are becoming commonplace,” said Desmond Wheatley, CEO of Beam Global. “By providing a container-transportable, rapidly deployed, off-grid power source paired with desalination and e-mobility, we are addressing three of the most essential needs in crisis situations: clean water, reliable power and the means to distribute aid. Beam Global is on a mission to make a real difference in the lives of those who are suffering.”

The deployment of the first BeamWell™ systems is expected soon, with partnerships in place with NGOs and government agencies. Beam Global remains committed to providing essential infrastructure for crisis zones to ensure sustainable access to water and power.
