BMW and Kith continue their collaboration with the introduction of the 2025 BMW XM by Kith, a high-performance plug-in hybrid. This limited edition vehicle features exclusive designs that pay homage to the legendary BMW M1. It will debut at Art Basel Miami 2024, accompanied by a unique 1981 BMW M1 E26 redesigned by Ronnie Fieg and a new Kith for BMW collection of apparel and lifestyle products.

- Limited Edition: Only 47 units of the 2025 BMW XM by Kith will be produced, celebrating 47 years since the debut of the BMW M1.
- Exclusive Design: The model features a unique BMW Individual Frozen Techno Violet metallic paint, with an alternative Frozen Black option.
- Premium Interior: Includes Kith-branded details, such as embossed monogram patterns and illuminated insignias.

The 2025 BMW XM by Kith is the third vehicle collaboration between BMW and Kith founder Ronnie Fieg, following the BMW M4 Competition Coupe and the BMW i4 M50 xDrive. This partnership highlights the innovative spirit of both brands, blending automotive excellence with lifestyle aesthetics.
Unique Features and Specifications The BMW XM is the first original BMW M model since the M1, featuring a M HYBRID drive system. Its design integrates iconic elements from the M1, such as side accent strips, dual rear emblems, and louvered rear lights. The exterior is accentuated with black window graphics and Techno Violet details on model inscriptions and logos.
The limited edition XM by Kith also boasts:
- 23-inch M light-alloy wheels with Jet Black finish.
- Illuminated door sills with “1/47” insignia.
- Exclusive Kith-branded interior elements, including leather seats with embossed monograms and special lighting effects.
Concept Vehicle and Historical Context The 2025 BMW XM Kith Concept, created by Fieg, showcases advanced lighting and custom design elements. A Techno Violet paint finish and purple lighting motifs reflect the model’s distinctive character. Its lowered suspension and widened track further enhance its performance and aesthetics.
As a nod to BMW’s history, Fieg has also reimagined a one-of-one 1981 BMW M1 E26. This meticulously reconstructed vehicle shares design parallels with the XM by Kith, including the Techno Violet paint and Kith-branded details, creating a bridge between BMW’s iconic past and innovative future.
Kith for BMW Collection The partnership extends beyond vehicles, with the launch of a new apparel and lifestyle collection. Highlights include:
- Premium Apparel: Italian leather jackets, wool coats, hoodies, and vintage-inspired T-shirts.
- Lifestyle Accessories: Leather driving gloves, branded key fobs, and snowboards.
- Exclusive Model: A 1:18 scale replica of the 2025 BMW XM by Kith, available in limited quantities.
The collection became available globally on December 6 at all Kith stores, including a pop-up in Miami Beach, and online at www.kith.com.
