Bollinger Motors Marks Milestone with First Electric Trucks

Bollinger Motors, founded in 2015 by Robert Bollinger, had initially planned to enter the electric SUV market. However, the company adapted to the shifting automotive landscape, opting to target the commercial vehicle segment, which is now ready for electrification. The result of this strategic decision is the Bollinger B4, a vehicle designed to meet the needs of commercial fleets nationwide.

CEO Jim Taylor emphasized the company’s focus on building a “world-class truck” and expressed excitement about delivering these vehicles to dealers and customers. Government officials, including Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, recognized Bollinger Motors’ contribution to the state’s economy and automotive industry. “Bollinger Motors has once again decided to bet on Michigan as they lead the future of class-4 electric commercial trucks,” Whitmer said.

The launch of the Bollinger B4 marks a new chapter for Bollinger Motors, solidifying its role in the growing electric commercial truck market and contributing to the transition toward sustainable transportation. The company has secured partnerships with major suppliers and service providers, ensuring support for the deployment of their trucks across the country.
