BRP Inc. has received two Gold Stevie® Awards in recognition of its commitment to innovation and excellence. The company’s Can-Am Pulse and Can-Am Origin electric motorcycles were named New Product of the Year – Transportation at the Stevie Awards for Technology Excellence, while the Can-Am Maverick R earned the same honor at the International Business Stevie Awards.

Can-Am Electric Motorcycles: Innovation Redefined
Recognized for their technological advancement and design excellence, the Can-Am Pulse and Origin electric motorcycles impressed judges at the Stevie Awards for Technology Excellence. These models feature a liquid-cooled power system, Active and Passive Regenerative Braking, and a high-performance chaincase, combining sustainability with thrilling power and torque.

A judge from this year’s competition added, “BRP’s Can-Am electric motorcycles show impressive innovation in design, performance, and sustainability. The liquid-cooled battery, fast charging, and regenerative braking clearly offer real rider benefits.”
The award was presented to BRP at a gala event on September 16 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City.
Can-Am Maverick R: Power Meets Precision
The Can-Am Maverick R captured Gold in the International Business Stevie Awards, selected from more than 3,800 nominations representing 78 countries. Judges praised the vehicle’s innovation, durability, and adaptability across challenging environments.
Launched in 2023, the Maverick R is a groundbreaking side-by-side (SSV) designed for high-performance off-road enthusiasts. It features a 240-hp engine, a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission—the first of its kind in its segment—and an advanced suspension system that delivers unmatched control and comfort.
“The exhilarating Maverick R represents BRP’s commitment to creating a machine that changes the industry by smashing through the confines of performance and design boundaries,” said Christian St-Onge, Director, Global Product Strategy, Can-Am Off-Road.
The award was presented during the gala on October 10 at the Corinthia Hotel in Lisbon, Portugal.
