Design Philosophy and Proportions

The Elevated Velocity adheres to Cadillac’s “Art of Exhilaration” design philosophy and may foreshadow styling direction for future production vehicles. According to Cadillac, the name references both the vehicle’s elevated ride height and its on-road and off-road performance orientation.

“The Elevated Velocity concept channels Cadillac’s V-Series legacy into an electric high-performance ultra luxury 2+2 crossover,” said Dominic Najafi, Executive Director of Design, Global Cadillac.

Interior and Craftsmanship

Gull-wing doors provide access to an interior featuring bespoke craftsmanship. The concept serves as a design study allowing Cadillac’s teams to explore future V-Series electric vehicle possibilities.

Bryan Nesbitt, Vice President of Global Design at GM, acknowledged the collaborative effort involving the Cadillac studio, Pasadena Advanced Design studio, Industrial Design studio, and Design Fabrication shop.
